The blogger is the best place where you can begin the blogging. The advantages of blogger is, it is free, no technical knowledge is needed, no hosting is needed, you can use blogspot sub-domain (myname.blogspot.in) or you can use third party domain (www.myname.com) etc…
Blogger allows you to create free blogs, but it does have some limitations. However, for a beginner it is a good way to learn to create a blog and to begin the blogging process. It is a blogging platform provided by Google. All your images are hosted in Google Picasa. You will get 15GB of storage with Google Plus.
If the goal of your blog is to make money or to have a blog that looks professional, I would recommend you to create a blog using WordPress.
Create A Blogger Account
First you have to create a Google account. Then go to www.blogger.com from there you should sign-in to your account with your email and password. After login you will see Profile Conform page that you want to select the profile that you want to display in your blog.
You will see an option to use the identity from your Google Plus profile, or you can use your limited BlogSpot profile. I would recommend using your Google Plus profile. In this tutorial I am selecting a Google Plus Profile so that we will get 15 GB Storage and many other features.
If you don’t have a Google Plus profile simply create it from there. After creating Google Plus Profile you will redirect to Blogger Dashboard.
Create New Blog
From there you can click on New Blog button or click on this link to create a free blog.
Now you have to add a blog Tittle, select your free sub domain Address (If you want custom domain you can add it later) and select the Template (You can change it anytime). After giving all this information you can click on Create Blog!. Check the address that you would like is available.
Now your blog is created, but you have to look some settings on your newly created blogspot blog for easy to use.
Now you are on the BlogSpot dashboard where you will see your blog’s backend. From here you can go to Settings and make changes to improve your blog’s visibility. You can customise the template or you can install premium good looking templates. You will get premium blogspot templates and support from Themeforest.
So your blog is almost ready, and you can start writing posts. I would recommend that you go to “Pages” and create few pages such as the “About” page which should be about you and what your blog is about.
Once you have some blog posts and traffic, you can apply for AdSense for earn money through your free blogspot blog. For that you go to Earnings -> Signup for AdSense.
